Wesley Snipes' legal woes continue: American Express sues for $30 ...

The fact that he's already serving a three-year prison sentence on a Federal tax evasion conviction doesn't mean Wesley Snipes is immune from new lawsuits.

According to TMZ, Snipes is the target of a new lawsuit filed by American Express. The company claims the "Blade" actor never paid a nearly $30,000 credit card bill before going to prison. The company is suing not only for the unpaid bill, but their legal expenses.

Back in September, Snipes' latest attempt to overturn his 2008 conviction was denied by an Atlanta Federal appeals court judge. So, for the time being he'll be paying -- or disputing -- any American Express charges from Pennsylvania's McKean Federal Correctional Institution.
