February 01, 2012 | 14:29 YEREVAN. ? Armenian capital Yerevan?s Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the planning mission group members of the ?Community Development in the South Caucasus? Program of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).??
The group?s leader, Aike Fater, presented GIZ mission?s objectives and directions, and the possible formats for cooperation with Yerevan, City Hall Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.???
In his turn, Taron Margaryan noted that the joint projects would be effective in terms of developing community services and the local government system.???
?Yerevan City Hall is interested in expanding and developing the cooperation by way of establishing bilateral ties with German cities. We look forward to establishing partnership and carrying out exchange programs,? Yerevan?s Mayor noted.???
The parties also agreed to form a joint working group.
